Please Note The Following Before Completing this Form
• Lab 99 is not for direct enrollment. It is for those repeating a course who completed the labs and requires permission to enroll.
• Permissions for lab 99 entry, for any of the Research Experience courses or for CHEM 4000, CHEM 4300, or BCHM 4000 need different forms found at the Chemistry Department website.
Permissions
• Permissions for CHEM 1100 or CHEM 1550 are not possible, as they are reserved for particular students.
• Permission for CHEM 2021 is only required if you have taken CHEM 2020 elsewhere. Students lacking the CHEM 2020 prerequisite will be de-enrolled near the start of term.
• Enrollment in CHEM 2550 does not require permission but obeys enrollment priorities. Any available seats are released near the start of the term.
• Enrollment in CHEM 3001 does not require permission but students lacking CHEM 3000 and students who are not in Chemistry will be de-enrolled.
Enrollment Priorities
In some courses, enrollment priority is given to certain categories of students. The seat allocations for each category are set according to the anticipated numbers in each, based on the prior year. The allocations are adjusted continually as much as is possible, and any remaining seats will be released near the start of term.
• CHEM 1000 and CHEM 1001: Priority is given to new students whose degree programs require these courses.
• CHEM 2020 and CHEM 2021: Priority is given to students whose degree programs require these courses.
• CHEM 2550: Priority is given to Nursing students.
